Immunize Oregon

Immunize Oregon is a network of community members, health professionals, and partner agencies with a common goal of preventing disease and improving the quality of life for all Oregonians. When the organization sought to expand their advocacy efforts, we worked with them to build an Advocacy Committee from the ground up. Starting with outreach to partners, Praxis brought together a committee of like-minded organizations with an interest in advocacy to develop a mission and vision, and break down long-term and short term goals. Together, we helped them form and manage subcommittees for ongoing advocacy activities.

In February of 2023, we held an informational event for legislators and staff in Salem to hear from advocates and providers about why immunizing our communities is an important issue and to facilitate dialogue between our elected leaders and committee members.

We continue to work with Immunize Oregon to increase immunization across Oregon, manage the Advocacy Committee, and help them grow their efforts statewide.
