Tawna Sanchez for State Representative

When Tawna Sanchez sought to become the first self-identified Native woman in the Oregon Legislature, we helped her make it happen. Running against an opponent with strong support from the political establishment, we helped Tawna make the most of her strengths – using a strong steering committee of highly engaged supporters, her deep record of service to the community, and her tireless work ethic to propel her to victory. Despite being heavily outspent and a robust field program by organizations supporting her opponent, Tawna was victorious – becoming the representative for one of Portland’s most Democratic leaning legislative districts.
