Washington County Safe Communities: Yes on 34-310

When it came time to select a new consultant to renew the levy that has supported the Washington County’s Enhanced Sheriff’s Patrol District for the past 30 years, the team chose Praxis. We worked closely with an engaged steering committee to develop messaging that highlighted core components of the measure, particularly its impact on 911 response times to unincorporated communities and resources for law enforcement to respond and support individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. By carefully navigating evolving voter perspectives on public safety, the measure passed with over 65% of the vote.
